[11.07.27] Brown Eyed Girls comeback pushed back again… to September
Just when you thought the Brown Eyed Girls comeback album couldn’t be pushed back any further, it is!
The last official date we received for the girls comeback was mid-July, but a week ago, AllKPop reported that they would return in August. At the same time, an opposing article published on Naver claims that the girls won’t be back until September, which if true, will probably put them up against supergroups like Girls’ Generation and KARA who are releasing new albums at that time.
Whenever the hell they do manage to come back, it’ll be with a digital single, followed swiftly with a new mini-album, which will be their first in two years. Production-wise the girls are in good hands, working with composer Lee Min Soo again who crafted their mega-hit “Abracadabra”, as well as Sunny Hill’s brilliant Midnight Circus mini-album.
By the way, I wouldn’t be too worried about BEG’s comeback competition (other than the unstoppable SNSD). Everyone thought T-ara’s “Roly Poly” comeback would do nothing, and now they’ve just won Inkigayo and the song is a huge hit, so don’t underestimate greatness!
