Brown Eyed Girls had a power outage while recording
We recently reported that girl group Brown Eyed Girls would be making a comeback this fall, as they are currently in the process of selecting their title track. However, they seem to be undergoing some difficulties, as it was recently reported that the Brown Eyed Girls experienced a blackout while recording for their upcoming album.
Brown Eyed Girls member Narsha updated her Twitter on August 10, saying, "While I was in the middle of recording my part, the studio became dark. It felt like I was sleeping because my eyes were closed for such a long time". She added, "There was a power outage. This is dae to the bak?" Rather than being alarmed by the blackout, Narsha looked on the bright side of the situation.
In the Korean music industry, there is a well-known superstition that singers who experience power outages or feel the presence of ghosts while they are recording go on to see their albums become very successful.
Narsha has accepted the blackout incident to indicate signs that their album will become a hit. Netizens have responded, "Signs of a hit, BEG's 4th album", "Wishing for a huge hit", and "The interpretation is better...but fighting!".
