Yoochun & Song Joong Ki : Candidates for Best Male Newcomer at Korea Drama Awards
The best one among the newcomers of last year in drama will be selected.
The nominated candidates for Korea Drama Awards were announced on the morning of the 20th in the Press Conference for 2011 Korea Drama Festival that was held in the Press Center in Taepyungro Sojae, Seoul.
The people who were announced to be nominated for the best male newcomer awards for Korea Drama Awards were Kang Dongho of MBCs Sparkle Sparkle, Kim Suhyun of KBS 2TVs Dream High, Park Yoochun and Song Joongki of Sungkyunkwan Scandal, and Ji Changwook of KBS 1TVs Laugh Donghae.
Further, for the candidates for the best female newcomer, Kim Minseo of Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Suzie of Dream High, Seo Hyunjin of MBCs Jjackpae, Im Suhyang of SBSs Shinkisaengdyu, and Wang Sunhee of Sign will duel it out.
The works that were nominated were selected among those that aired between September 1 of last year to August 31 of this year. The panelist who selected them were 7 professionals in the media, including culture critics, professors, reporters, and the head of the panel, actor Lee Sunjae.
Jang Hansung, the head of the organization committee, revealed: Until now in Korea there were no awards that dealt in both the actor and the work. We will create an awards that will deal in all. We hope that the Korea Drama Awards will become an awards ceremony that acts as a gateway for the actors.
The recipients for the Drama Awards will be announced on October 2 in the ceremony of the Korea Drama Awards that will take place in Kyungnam Culture Arts Center in Jinsu Sojae, Kyungsangnam.

ลิสต์รายชื่อดังกล่าวได้ถูกเลือกจากละครที่ได้ออกอากาศตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 กันยายน ของปีที่แล้วจนถึงวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม ของปีนี้ ผู้ที่มาเป็นกรรมการในการเลือกเฟ้นนั้น ได้ถูกคัดมาจาก 7 สาขาอาชีพในแวดวงสื่อ-บันเทิง ซึ่งรวมถึง นักวิจาร์ณสายวัฒนธรรม, อาจาร์ย, นักข่าว, และ นักแสดงแถวหน้าอย่าง Lee Sunjae
