Katie Holmes held her daughter Suri's hand after they went shopping in LA yesterday. The girls stopped by a Toys R Us store to pick up a new stuffed animal for Suri, and the little one was evidently happy since she skipped back to their car!
Katie and Suri are on the West Coast again after paying a weekend visit to Tom Cruise on the Pittsburgh set of One Shot. Pennsylvania is the latest place that Tom's making a movie after he spent time in Vancouver, Dubai, Miami, and elsewhere during one of his busiest filmmaking Summers ever.
Tom Cruise's legendary career highs and lows are the subject of a new piece in today's Hollywood Reporter. He endured a low period professionally after his erratic behavior in 2005, but studios apparently once again think he's a big box office draw. That allure has helped him line up yet another project, as he's signing on for a big-budget sci-fi movie called We Mortals Are from director Doug Liman.
