[News Summary] If 'Married Female Singers' Also Comes In To The World of Girl Groups

Article talks about how it would be good if Kpop girl groups could remain active even when they are in their 30s. Looking at the broadcast and film industry, actresses like Han Ga In and even actresses in their 40s like Kim Nam Joo are still actively casted in dramas.
Going back to the Kpop world, since the appearance of girl groups such as Kara, Wonder Girls, etc in 2007, the center of Kpop have been groups who are in their late 10s and early 20s.
Singers are different from actors in nature. Singers have to be able to leave a deep impression and showcase their diverse appeals within a short period. They will be forgotten easily if they are not able to do that.
It is a fact that agencies take on a burdensome approach when producing for female singers who are in their 30s. Their chance of success is lessen when being compared with the appealing, young female singers.
However, in the case of Brown Eyed Girls, they have showed that age is never important. They have 3 members turning 30 in 2010 out of the 4 members. With the outstanding vocals and rap abilities of JeA, Miryo and Narsha, Brown Eyed Girls have came to make the girl group industry even more blooming.
When there are girl groups in their 10s, 20s and 30s fairly existing together, they can make the Kpop industry even more solid and blooming. This strengthens the foundation of Kpop.
The maturity of Kpop fans can be seen here recently, they are attracted to female dance singers and girl groups with strong appeals, disregarding their age. The fans of Brown Eyed Girls and Lee Hyori have proved this point well.
So now all it is needed is to challenge Kpop producers. It is the time where bold attempts are needed to confidently produce mid and late 20s, and even female dance singers over 30s. To note, Beyonce who is married, is still the world's best dance diva even today.
