Miryo: Hello?
MC: Yes, hello!
Miryo: Yes, hello everyone. I'm Miryo. It's nice to meet you.
MC: Please introduce yourself to our Daegu TBC listeners today and to also those that are listening to this online.
Miryo: Yes, hello everyone. I am Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls' and I have made a solo debut! I'm promoting with an attitude of mind as a rookie singer so please show lots of love! The title song is Dirty!
MC: Should we call it Dirty or Duh-tee?
Miryo: Whatever's comfortable with you. Truthfully speaking, I pronounced it Dirty while singing it but if you want, you can pronounce it Duh-tee as well.
MC: I think I'll just have to pronounce it Dirty, just like in the song.
Miryo: Yes, Dirty.
MC: But, when have you started preparing for your solo album?
Miryo: It's been a long time since I prepared, but I began to record and stuff starting about 5 months ago.
MC: I thought it would only be about 1 or 2 songs, but you released a lot.
Miryo: Really? There were suppose to be more songs, but I took them out.
MC: Oh, really?
Miryo: Yes.
MC: Please introduce us to how your album came to be, such as how you planned it and who produced your album.
Miryo: I have participated in producing this album, so the album concept, composing the songs, album jacket styling, music video, and even the choreography was done by me.
I wanted to show fans my true image as well as a different image of me. Up till now, I've been showing a lot of tough and masculine side to myself, but through this album, I wanted to show a more different charismatic image.
Also if you listen to the album, there may be a few people that were disappointed since the songs weren't more of a hip-hop style. However, each of the songs have a different style such as a fast beat and a soft tune, and the reason for that is because I've been into those types of songs lately.
MC: Do you consider these songs to fit your character/personality the best?
Miryo: Yes. For example, the title song Dirty has a whimsy(?) side to it, but it also has a cute side so that's one part that fits my character.
As for Revenger, it has that somewhat depressing side to it.
And for Party Rock, it has that exciting and joyful side which also fits my character.
All of the songs in general have a mixture of pop rock and electronic, but those are the types of songs that I've been listening and enjoying lately.
MC: Since you did it by yourself, I feel like the rap for Dirty was even better.
Miryo: Thank you.
