Lee Joon Voted Best Suited to Play Prince Yang Myung in The Moon that Embraces the Sun
With over 40% viewership rating, MBCs popular historical drama The Moon that Embraces the Sun has taken the country by storm. As proof to the dramas craze, people are now contemplating the question, If there was to be an idol version of the drama, who would best fit the roles of each character?
This was precisely the question asked during March 3rds episode of MBC Everyones Daytime Idol in the Real Chart! Idol Self Ranking segment. The best 3 idols, as voted by idol members themselves, for Prince Yang Myungs role (played by actor Jung Il Woo) were revealed.
In first place was MBLAQs Lee Joon. The reason? While Lee Joon smiles and laughs easily normally, he is able to quickly switch over to acting sensitive during movie or music video shoots. Idols felt like this quality would make him a good fit for the character of Yang Myung.
In second place was B2STs Yoon Doo Joon, while 3rd place was Infinites L.
