Annyeonghaseyo. I am the lead vocal in B.A.P, Daehyun.
Q: What made you want to become a singer?
Since I was small, I liked to sing. During elementary school, I went to coin karaoke/coin norebang in the arcade, during middle school, I went to karaoke box and sang. For high school, although I enter a school that has a department of pop (popular) music based on my sense of interest, I did not think of becoming a profession. But, while going to vocal academy, I felt that people around me have expectation for me, I thought to have a little more confidence in myself in attempting to sing in full-fledged.
Q: Who is the artist that you respect?
I respect 4mens Shin Yong Jae senior very much.
Q: What type of girl/women do you like?
I like someone who is like Shim Saimdang. A good wife and wise mother style I think?

Height: 178cm / Weight: 65kg
Annyeonghaseyo. I am the lead vocal in B.A.P, 「Plain」Youngjae.
Q: What made you want to become a singer?
During middle school, when going to school trip, there will be something like talent showcase right, during that time I appeared together with my friends and I sang, the response around me was great. At that time, I started to become interested in song for the first time, I attended a academy specialize in music, and I have a dream to become a singer in profession.
Q: Who is the artist that you respect?
I like Musiq Soul Child very much. I would like to work together someday.
Q: What type of girl/women do you like?
I like girl/women who have a clear personal opinion and majestic.
- During your debut, all members were blond, but this time you all have changed completely.
Youngjae: During 「WARRIOR」, to let people know the team/group called B.A.P, the 6 of us had blond hair. Because it is clear that the 6 of us have our own individuality/personality, when standing on stage, in order to prevent each persons charm from standing out, we unified by having blond hair. But this time in 「POWER」, each member has a different hairstyle. This concept is to make the best of us of our own individuality/personality. For Yongguk hyung, it was decided with a casual hairstyle with purple in two-tone grey. For Himchan hyung, he had short dark hair which utilized his jaw line. Daehyun in ash grey and Jongup in brown. For magnae Zelo, he had a pink hair which suits him a lot. My blond hair stays as the same and did an image change with a block cut. Besides that, the company that we belong to reflects a lot on our opinion as well. Yongguk hyung wrote the lyrics of all the tracks as well as the debut song and our intention is very strong.
- Yongguk san, when you are writing lyrics, in what way do you compose it? Does other member write lyrics or will be composing too?
Bang Yongguk: I make a separate time for composition, when I am working on something, I am the style that will concentrate working on that only. Once I have someone around me, it is hard for me to concentrate on work. From a certain moment when I am suddenly concentrated, I will continue to work by drawing out a lot of things in my memory. Besides that, all members write lyrics or compose accordingly, especially Zelo, perhaps its because we rap together, he is the most ambitious in writing lyrics among the members.
- You all are also very confident of your stage performance, although it is magnificent, arent you all nervous?
Himchan: I think there isnt a member that is particularly nervous. But, if to say among the members, I think Daehyun is the most nervous, because Daehyun has parts where he need to hit the high notes. In order to ease the nervousness, before going up stage, Daehyun will let out his voice.
- There are already B.A.P fans in Japan, do you all have any activity plans in Japan? After you come to Japan, where do you want to go and what would you like to do?
Zelo: We really want to go to Japan! There are a lot of fans from Japan that came all the way to our company, we are full with gratitude towards them. Therefore, the feeling of going to Japan grows even more. The place that I want to go is
, Harajuku I wonder? After that, I would want to walk the streets of Shibuya.
- What are the things that you all heard from your companys senior, Secret, when they did their activities in Japan?
Zelo: Although I have not heard from Secret senior about their stories in Japan, I feel envious/jealous of them when seeing them going and coming back from Japan from time to time, and having the feeling of wanting to go to Japan soon.
