Discover the stars who love animals 
According to Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Quarantine Inspection Divisions latest report (2011), the number of abandoned animals nationwide [in South Korea] reached 96,268 last year. Especially during the holiday season there is an increase in the number of abandoned animals. In the case of Seoul, the number of stray dogs which came to the animal shelter in the last three years was 33,351. Out of these, 7,339 (22%) were abandoned during the holiday season from July to August.
We have gathered the following information about stars who have a mature attitude and a sense of responsibility to share life with pets. If you love your pets like they do, the number of abandoned animals will definitely be reduced every year, and the poor animals will not lose their shelter.
◇ Park Si Hoo, Kim Hee Chul completely succumb to cats charm
Cats are contrary to dogs and have strong personality, clean and independent. They have charmed Super Juniors Kim Hee Chul and stylish actor Park Si Hoo who are two male celebrities totally absorbed in love of cats. These two stars both live with their cats. As public service personnel spending a hot summer, Kim is raising a Bengal cat Idiot and a Russian Blue huibeom. He never hides his affection for them, even in his radio broadcasts, and he also goes traveling with them.
Park Si Hoo who has had a busy schedule in the first half of this year is also famous for having a people-friendly cat Scottish Fold Jami with whom he has accumulated more than seven years of cohabitation and friendship. Earlier in February this year, he brought home a kitten of the same species.
