Hyun Bin Cheers for The One on ′I Am a Singer′
Hyun Bin didn′t forget to cheer for his friends even while serving in the military.
The One appeared on the September 16 broadcast of MBC′s I Am a Singer and flashed a card and flower basket Hyun Bin had sent.
The singer had chosen to sing That Man from the OST of Secret Garden, a drama that starred Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin, for the group B preliminaries of September on the show.
The One said, "[That Man] is a song sung by a friend I′m thankful for. He′s younger than me, but he still cares for me, cheers me on and gets me meals."
He then showed off at his waiting room a card and flowers that dear friend had sent.
The card read, ′I hope One hyung′s (big brother) voice makes him That Man of I Am a Singer. I′ll cheer for you when I get my leave! From Hyun Bin of the Marine Corps.′
The One said, "The song I′ll be singing today was sung by Hyun Bin. He′s a junior, but I believe I have a lot to learn from him as a man. I want to sing this song to show how I feel toward Hyun Bin, who helped me when I was in need."
The singer ultimately topped the day′s competition with That Man, winning the ticket to the September round-ups.
