I was not angry.
And I just noticed that you added something to your message in the lower topics.
Well, you can call me a coward. But this will be the last time that I say anything on this subject, since we are speaking the different language. You asked me to open my mind. But you insisted on believing in what you believe without even considered what I have said. So, what's the point?
Let me reply to those messages (from here and from the lower topic) of yours like this...
First, lets just not lose the point. I do not hate science. I have not said that Science is destructive. I have not said that Science does not give tremendous benefits to the life of humanity.
But Science, as in pure science of math, physics, chemistry, biology, et cetera; cannot explain everything. If you insist to believe that you cannot believe in the thing that science cannot explain, fine with me. It is your right. But if someone talks to me about something that I dont know but others claim to know, I think I would at least remain neutral and see what is his/her evidences/reasons, instead of stating that I cannot believe it just because it cannot be scientifically proven.
But then again, just as I have said earlier, we are looking at things from a very different point of view.
I know, you would still insist that science, if you have enough knowledge about it, can be used in explain basically anything. You can insist. I just wont believe that.
Even in things that should fall into the category of science like human behaviours, most of the time you cannot just use some equations and the working of the chemistry in humans brain to explain that. Ok, Behavioral Studies as Pavlovs is counted as science. But can all the scientific theories exist today explain just every single behaviors of every human being? Is it something that can be tested in an experiment and always got the same result? (Oh, by the way, you shouldnt have to lecture me on the scientific method. I maybe dumbed, but I went to high school in science program, spent some time in engineering, I kinda figured out how to make a science theories.)
Is there an equation explaining why a person loves, or hates, or be annoyed with something?
You dont have to answer me. And even if you do explain, I dont think my level of intelligence can be competed with yours. I dont know anything about Dark, or Vacuum, energy. My knowledge on mathematics is limited at the level of Differential Equations. And I think I have returned most of that branch of knowledge to the people who taught me. So your explanation always confused me more than Benedict Andersons theory of Imagined Communities or, in fact, any Nationalism theories that still swimming in my head.
What am I babbling here?....
It was my fault I turn this topic into something that Im sure Khun MuanN didnt intend at all. Im sorry. Ill stop now.
