มีหลายตำแหน่ง ตอนแรกก็อยากเปลี่ยนงานค่ะ แต่ติดปัญหาว่าพ่อป่วยต้องอยู่ดูแลด้วย เลยอด ทั้งที่เป็นงานที่น่าสนใจ อยากให้กำลังใจนะคะ ลองดูค่ะ คุณบอกว่าไม่มีญาติ ก็น่าจะมีโอกาสที่กว้างขึ้นกว่าคนที่ต้องอยู่กับครอบครัว ตำแหน่งเนี่ย เล็งอยู่ แต่ไปไม่ได้จริง ๆ

Manager-Designate of Handicrafts Project for Hilltribe Communities in Chiang Rai
Background
KLDF (http://www.khomloy.org/) is a Thai Foundation based in Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand. Since 2003 it has been running a number of development projects to help the estimated 550,000 ethnic minority hilltribe peoples who live on the Thai/Myanmar border with projects in agriculture/food security, education and job creation through handcraft production. It has 16 staff and an annual budget of Bt4m/US$120,000.
KLDF has been building its handicrafts division for 3 years (see the handicrafts website at www.izaraarts.com). We specialize in products which combine the talents of different tribes into striking products which make ideal gifts. We have developed a range of 6 products that are selling steadily, and turnover for the last 12 months was Bt600,000. We are a Fair Trade organisation.
There are currently 2 permanent staff in the department a Production Assistant and the Director.
Because of the growth in sales volume and the need of the Director to spend more time overseas to promote sales, we are creating a new position of Manager- Designate.
Start date: As soon as possible
Salary: According to age, experience and qualification.
Location: Chiang Rai province
Candidate profile:
Must have:
- At least 2 years experience in sales or marketing of export products, preferably related to the handicrafts sector
- Education to degree level
- Fluency in Thai and a good working knowledge of English
- Experience of managing a department or staff
- Experience of computerised bookkeeping and stock control system (we will give training if necessary on our Quickbooks system)
- Drivers licence
Must have:
Any hilltribe language would be an asset
Summary job description
Manage the Production Assistant and other volunteer/junior staff
In consultation with the Director, develop and implement a marketing strategy for existing and new products, including market research, planning and executing sales campaigns
Handle international (mainly English-speaking) and domestic sales, both in response to enquiries and making calls to potential new clients.
Develop relationships with existing customers to grow sales and research new customer needs
Liaise with the Managing Director to receive visitors to the Project and to our production villages
Develop marketing materials including brochures, press releases, labels and packaging, newsletters, new product notifications, public relations opportunities, etc in consultation with the Director
Supervise the accounting and bookkeeping of the project, as well as preparing and monitoring monthly and annual budgets
In conjunction with the Production Assistant, manage stock levels, order fulfilment and credit control
Work as Manager alongside the Director with a view to managing during the Directors absence from July to Oct 2008.
