ROTHENBURG SCHNEEBALLEN (powder sugar coated or chocolate coated ) 3 -----------------EGGS 1 Teaspoon -----------------SALT 2 Teaspoon -----------------BAKING POWDER 1/2 Teaspoon -----------------SODA WATER 1/2 Cup -----------------SUGAR 1 Teaspoon -----------------CLOVES 1 Pint -----------------SOUR CREAM 5 Cups -----------------ALL PURPOSE FLOUR Some POWDER SUGAR for DUSTING or MELTED CHOCOLATE for DIPPING.
1. Mix EGGS and SUGAR together,then mix in REMAINING INGREDIENTS. Adding the FLOUR last in small amounts at a time and slowly mix until it become a MEDIUM size STIFF DOUGH. 2. Pick out a small LIME size piece of DOUGH and roll out into a 4x4 inch. Then cut with knife to be 1/4 inch strip,from i/4 inch from the rim to 1/4 inch before other rim. 3. Use a chopstick to lift weaving in between each slit. 4. Put in your palm,slowly take a chopstick out and make a ball in your hand. 5. Then DEEP FRY until brown on one side,and flip it over to brown on the other side. 6. Lift out onto a plate,use a piece of paper towel or a small and clean cloth ( as size of a handkerchief ).Press into a ball shape while still warm. 7. DUST with POWDER SUGAR or DIP in MELTED CHOCOLATE. ENJOY with TEA or COFFEE.!!!!!!!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
