he's not a looser you guys are
he's just truthful and uncompromising - something that is unacceptable in the FAKE thai society. what he says is all TRUE. especially heading 6 and 7 (just look at khun bbq).
if you are not open enough to accept your own -- our own; my own; the thai people's own -- flaw then we can never go forward.
IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME SITUATION HERE IN PANTIP. ONCE IN A WHILE SOMEONE COMES ALONG AND OFFERS A CRITIQUE ON THE THAI SOCIETY -- ONE THAT IS RIGHTLY DESERVED -- BUT SADLY HE BECOMES CHASTISED. THAT IS GREAT. LET US FOREVER LIVE IN OUR PLEASANT IGNORANCE AND DENIAL AND BEFORE LONG WE WILL BE LIKE ______ (insert inferior country here, i.e. laos, burma, khmer, etc.)
WAKE UP
ps. on the subject of houses, i think we have to remember the subject of the demographic under consideration as well. surely, many people simply cannot afford to do their house well, so they opted for second best option which is comfort. nonetheless, it should be evident and irrefutable that the 'comfort' style adopted by thais are hideous to say the very least. NEON LIGHTS, WHITE WALLS, WHITE TILES in living rooms -- what can be worse.
ps2. my house is no exception and suffers from the same degree of culttering.
