Supplies:
Worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart "Soft") - 3 oz light blue, small amount dark blue.
Size G crochet hook.
Small amount white & black felt.

Note - sc dec is worked as follows:
Insert hook in next st, YO & pull up loop, insert hook in next st, YO & pull up loop, YO and pull through all 3 loops on hook.

Neck and Body:
With light blue ch 2.
Round 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around (10).
Round 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around (15).
Round 4: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around (20).
Round 5: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around.
Rounds 6-8: Working in both loops, sc in each sc around.
Round 9: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around (30).
Round 10: Sc in each sc around.
Round 11: Sl st in next sc, ch 3, dc in same st, dc in next st, (2 dc in next sc, dc in next sc) around (45 sts including ch-3 as first st). Sl st to top of ch-3.
Round 12: Ch 3, dc in next st and in each st around (45 sts including ch-3). Sl st to top of ch-3.
Note: Next round is worked around back post of each st by inserting hook from back to front then to back.
Round 13 (begin body): Ch 3, dc around next back post and around each back post around. Sl st to top of ch-3.
Round 14: Dc in each st around as normal (45 sts including ch-3).
Rounds 16-21: Repeat round 12 for 7 rows or until rows 11 through end equal length of the toilet tissue roll. Fasten off.

Small spots (make 2):
With dark blue, ch 2.
Round 1: Work 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Round 2: Work 3 sc in each sc around (12).
Round 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around (18).
Round 4: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around (24). Sl st to next sc and fasten off.

Large spots (make 2):
Repeat directions for small spots, then work last row as follows: (Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around (30). Sl st to next sc and fasten off.

Sew spots randomly on body.

Legs (make 4):
With dark blue, ch 2.
Round 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12). Join light blue and fasten off dark blue.
Round 3: With light blue sc in next 4 sc, begin toes by working (sc, hdc, dc, dc, hdc, sc) in each of next 3 sc, sc in next 5 sc (27).
Round 4: Sc in next 4 sc, sc dec 9 times, sc in next 5 sc (16).
Round 5: Sc in next 4 scs, sc dec twice, sc in next sc, sc dec twice more, sc in next 5 scs (14).
Round 6: Sc in next 4 scs, sc dec, sc in next sc, sc dec, sc in next 5 sc (12).
Round 7: Sc in next 2 scs, (sc dec, sc in next 3 sc)twice (10).
Round 8: Sc in next sc, sc dec, sc in next 3 sc, sc dec, sc in next 2 scs (8). Stuff foot.
Round 9: Sc dec, sc in next 3 scs, sc dec, sc in next sc (6).
Round 10: Sc dec around (3). Fasten off, leaving enough thread for sewing.

Sew legs onto body, two on top and two at the bottom. Make sure toes are pointing up and towards you; sew legs approx 3 inches apart.

Head:
Starting at bottom with light blue, ch 17.
Round 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 15 sc. Working on other side of ch, work 2 sc in next ch loop, sc in next 14 chs, 2 sc in last ch.
Round 2: (Ch 3, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next ch), sc in next 16 sc, repeat between (), sc in next 18 sc.
Round 3: [2 sc in next 2 chs, 2 sc in next 2 scs], sc in next 16 sc, repeat between [], sc dec, sc in next 14 sc, sc dec.
Round 4: {Sc dec, sc in next 4 sc, sc dec}, sc dec, sc in next 12 sc, sc dec, repeat between {}, sc in next 16 sc.
Round 5: <Sc dec, sc in next 2 sc, sc dec>, sc in next 14 sc, repeat between <>, sc in next 16 sc.
Round 6: Sc dec twice, sc in next 14 sc, sc dec three times, sc in next 12 sc, sc dec.
Round 7: Sc dec twice, sc in next 10 sc, sc dec twice, sc in next 14 sc.
Round 8: Sc in each sc around (28).
Round 9: Sc in next 14 sc, sc dec, sc in next 10 sc, sc dec.
Round 10: Sc in next sc, sc dec, sc in next 8 sc, sc dec, sc in next 13 sc.
Round 11: Sc in each sc around (24).
Round 12: Sc in next 12 sc (note last 12 sc worked as front of head), sc dec, sc in next 8 sc, sc dec.
Round 13: Sc in next sc, sc dec, sc in next 6 sc, sc dec, sc in next 11 sc.
Round 14: Sc in each sc around (20).
Round 15: Sc in next 10 sc, sc dec, sc in next 6 sc, sc dec.
Start stuffing head.
Round 16: Sc in next sc, sc dec, sc in next 4 sc, sc dec, sc in next 9 sc.
Round 17: Sc in each sc around (16).
Round 18: Sc in next 8 sc, sc dec, sc in next 4 sc, sc dec.
Finish stuffing, then sc dec around until opening is closed.

Ear Piece (make 4):
Starting at bottom with light blue, ch 9.
Row 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in last sc (10). Ch 1, turn. (Mark round 1 as right side).
Row 2: Sc in first sc, sk next sc, sc in next 4 sc, sk next sc, sc in last sc (8). Ch 1, turn.
Rows 3-5: Sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 6: Sc in first sc, sk next sc, sc in next 4 sc, sk next sc, sc in last sc (6). Ch 1, turn.
Rows 7-10: Sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 11: Sc in first sc, sk next sc, sc in next 2 sc, sk next sc, sc in last sc (4). Ch 1, turn.
Rows 12-14: Sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 15: 4 sc in first sc. Do not ch, turn.
Row 16: Sk next sc, sl st in next 2 sc, 4 sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 17: 4 sc in first sc.

Ear spots (make 2):
Wrap yarn around finger 2 or 3 times, YO and pull up loop through ring. Ch 1. Work 6 sc in ring, then with free end of yarn pull ring as tight as possible.
Round 2: 2 sc in each around (12).
Round 3: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around (18).
Sl st to next st to join and fasten off.
Sew spots to right side at bottom of two ear pieces.

Make one ear by holding two ear pieces together (one with a spot and one without). With wrong sides facing each other, sl st in end st of each row and in each sc around. Fasten off. Make another ear the same way.

Sew ears to top of head.

Nose:
With dark blue, ch 4.
Row 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, 2 sc in last ch. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: 2 sc in first sc, sl st in next sc, (sl st, ch 2, sl st) in next sc, sl st in next sc, 2 sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: 2 sc in first sc, sl st in next sc, sk next 2 sl sts, work 5 sc in ch-2 sp, sk next 2 sl sts, sl st in next sc, 2 sc in last sc. Fasten off. Sew nose to bottom of head with 5-sc sp pointing down.

Eyes (make 2):
Cut 2 small egg shapes out of white felt (approx 1/2" across). Cut 2 small circles out of black felt (approx 1/4" diam) and glue to bottom sides of eyes. Glue eyes side by side onto head.

Sew head on bk loops of round 5 of neck.
