HOOD
Before working the hood, join the shoulder seams.
With right side facing,using 3 1/4 mmneedles an yarn M,K6(7:8)sts from right front holder,pich up and K14 sts up right side of front neck , increasing one st at centre, K acxross sts from back neck, pick up nad K14 sts down left side of front neck, K6(7:8)sts from holder.[69(73:77)sts]
Next row P1,*K1,p1;rop from*to end.
Next row K1,*P1,K1;rep form*to end.
Rep the last 2 rows twice more.
Next row Rib5(6:7) and slip htese sts onto a holder,rib 2(3:4),m1,rib5;rep from*to last 7(10:11)sts , m1 rib2(3:4),slip last 5(6:7)sts onto a holder.[71(73:75)sts]
Change to 4mm needles.
Beg with a P row cont inb st st until hood measures 4 3/4(5 1/2:6 1/4)in,12(14:16)cm,ending with a P row.
