When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the

[10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles;
if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

2. If you would like the curls of Scarf to be symmetric,
work Scarf in two halves as follows: For each half, ch 90,

Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn, dc in first dc,
*dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc; rep from
* across to turning ch, dc in top of turning ch.

Row 4: Ch 2 (does not count as a st), turn, hdc in first 2 dc,
*2 hdc in next dc, hdc in next 2 dc; rep from *
across to turning ch, 2 hdc in top of turning ch.
Fasten off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
