DRESS
Using CC1, CO 90 sts. Divide sts between needles and join to beging working in the round, being careful not to twist.
Round 1: K all sts.
Round 2: P all sts.
Round 3: [(K2tog) 3 times, (yo, k1) 6 times, (k2tog) 3 times] to end.
Round 4: K all sts.
Rounds 5-12: Work as for Rounds 1-4.
Rounds 13-22: K all sts.
Round 23: [K8, k2tog] 9 times. 81 sts.
Rounds 24-33: K all sts.
Round 34: [K7, k2tog] 9 times. 72 sts.
Round 35-44: K all sts.
Round 45: [K6, k2tog] 9 times. 63 sts.
Rounds 46-55: K all sts.
Round 56: [K5, k2tog] 9 times. 54 sts.
Rounds 57-66: K all sts.
Divide for Armholes:
Row 67 [RS]: K27; front will be worked back and forth over these 27 sts. Leave remaining 27 sts on hold on needles or place on st holder.
Rows 68-77: Work in stockinette st. Break yarn.
Rejoin yarn to held sts of back and work 11 rows in stockinette st; front and back are same length.
Resume working in the round over all sts.
Rounds 78-80: K all sts.
Round 81: K1, [yo, k2tog] 26 times, yo, k1. 55 sts.
Round 82: K all sts.
BO all sts.
Tie:
Using CC3, CO 3 sts. Work 17 inches I-Cord.
Last Row: K3tog.
Break yarn, draw through remaining st and pull tight.
PANTIES
Using CC3, CO 26 sts. Panties are worked back and forth in rows.
Rows 1-3: [K1, p1] to end.
Rows 4-21: Work in stockinette st, beginning with a RS row.
Row 22 [RS]: BO 11 sts, k to end. 15 sts.
Row 23 [WS]: BO 11 sts, k to end. 4 sts.
Rows 24-35: Work in stockinette st.
Row 36 [RS]: CO 13 sts, k all sts. 17 sts.
Row 37 [WS]: CO 13 sts, p all sts. 30 sts.
Rows 39-55: Work in stockinette st.
Rows 56-58: [K1, p1] to end.
BO all sts.
WINGS (Make 2)
Using CC3, C) 18 sts. Divide sts between needles and join to begin working in the round, being careful not to twist.
Odd-Numbered Rounds 1-17: K all sts.
Round 2: K1, kfb, k5, kfb, k2, kfb, k5, kfb, k1. 22 sts.
Round 4: K1, kfb, k7, kfb, k2, kfb, k7, kfb, k1. 26 sts.
Round 6: K1, kfb, k9, kfb, k2, kfb, k9, kfb, k1. 30 sts.
Round 8: K1, kfb, k11, kfb, k2, kfb, k11, kfb, k1. 34 sts.
Round 10: K1, kfb, k13, kfb, k2, kfb, k13, kfb, k1. 38 sts.
Round 12: K1, kfb, k15, kfb, k2, kfb, k15, kfb, k1. 42 sts.
Round 14: K1, kfb, k17, kfb, k2, kfb, k17, kfb, k1. 46 sts.
Round 16: K all sts.
Divide for Wing Tips:
Next Round: K15, place these 15 sts on first st holder or waste yarn; k16; place last 15 sts of round on second st holder or waste yarn. Divide 16 sts on needle between needles and join to work in the round.
Upper Wing Tip:
Rounds 1-4: K all sts.
Round 5: [K1, ssk, k2, k2tog, k1] twice. 12 sts.
Round 6: K all sts.
Round 7: [K1, ssk, k2tog, k1] twice. 8 sts.
Round 8: K all sts.
Round 9: [Ssk, k2tog] twice. Break yarn, draw through remaining 4 sts and pull tight. Sew in end securely.
Middle Wing Tip:
From each st holder or piece of waste yarn, remove the 8 sts adjacent to the upper wing tip, and divide them between needles. Rejoin yarn to these 16 sts and join to work in the round.
Rounds 1-3: K all sts.
Round 4: [K1, ssk, k2, k2tog, k1] twice. 12 sts.
Round 5: K all sts.
Round 6: [K1, ssk, k2tog, k1] twice. 8 sts.
Round 7: [Ssk, k2tog] twice. Break yarn, draw through remaining 4 sts and pull tight. Sew in end securely.
Lower Wing Tip:
Divide remaining 14 held sts between needles, rejoin yarn and join to work in the round.
Round 1: K all sts.
Round 2: [K1, ssk, k1, k2tog, k1] twice. 10 sts.
Round 3: K all sts.
Round 4: K1, [ssk, k2tog] twice, k1. 6 sts.
Round 5: K all sts.
Round 6: [K2tog] 3 times. Break yarn, draw through remaining 3 sts and pull tight. Sew in end securely.
FINISHING
Stuff torso and limbs, and sew together. Sew head to top of torso.Sew side seams of panties.
Sew wings to back of dress as shown.
Thread I-cord through eyelets at upper edge of dress, and tie in a bow.
Weave in all remaining ends securely.
Place panties and dress on Sally and give her to a deserving person, big or small.
