I think there is a cure in the text book that is being to P'Payu na. Is that book still being with you krub P'Payu?? But for the first aid, keep the snake in a dry environment, leave it just a small cup of water for drinking.

Hi Khun คนนั้น here are some comments by the expert from herp med webboard. I posted the photo of the Carpet and ask them how should we deal with this snake. The suggestions are as following
"We would be doing a disservice to you and your snake to try and advise treatment when what you animal has is unknown, skin problems can be dietary, bacterial, fungal, irritations from environment and several other things. The only way to know for sure what yours is dealing with is by taking it to a knowledgeable vet and him examining, getting a history and possibly culturing the area.
Each need treated or addressed in a different way and what may work on one could actually cause harm to another: Examples
A mold fungus that is treated as a possible bacterial infection with antibiotic, can accelerate its growth, causing it to move deep into the tissue and become fatal in a matter of a few days."
So if possible, please explain or print out this message to the vet also.
Khun คนนั้น below is a reply from a herper in Australia eventhough, it is too late for my carpet but as they mentioned that this blister disease is a contagious infection so it would be better to know how to deal with this symptom and prevention is always the best policy.
Hi ??
Have seen this problem before. Sometimes it sets in quickly (almost overnight), sometimes it takes a little while (like a week or so) to manifest. It is particularly agressive on carpet pythons and is contageous, so hygene must be of the utmost.
The skin presents clear blisters, and begins to crust and become hard (almost like it has 2 or 3 shed layers to come off). DO NOT try to peel the individual, it will leave moist exposed flesh that is very prone to infection. The cause of this illness is either environmental or caused by mites. The collection we have seen this in, had a mite infection.
We are unaware of a cure for this disorder, however the following management can be applied. Sometimes it is successful, other times it is not.
1. The reptile must continue to feed, if a feed is not taken, force feed. The energy level has to be there to attempt healing. Of the ones we have seen treated, those that continued to retain food, had a 50-50 chance of survival and some did. Those that failed to retain food became deceased.
2. Do not attempt to overheat due to illness, this seems to increase the problem.
3. Daily baths in a very mild (like pale tea) surgical betadine mixed with water, then pat dried with a towel. Make sure you do not cross infect by doing others with the same water and towel.
This is a particularly nasty condition and requires a lot of time and patience. As stated before, hygene (especially while infected) must be at its best. Invariably, the majority of the snakes we have seen with this condition do die, but some do survive. Guess it just comes back to survival of the fittest.
Hope this helps you with understanding this problem a little better
