Sorry na krab,
Last night after having checked and replied some emails, I was writing the details of the accident and the replies to some of your comments above with MS Word. Then something went wrong with my wireless router (I think the lightning during the thunderstorm last night might have something to do with it), and the internet link between the router and my computer couldn't be re-established. That word documents still in my computer na, but I couldnt copy its content to kratoo Lab and sent it from home ja.
So Im just going to tell it from work in English na.
On Saturday I sprained my right ankle while playing volleyball. It was swelling very rapidly and very painful. My friends and my brother took me to the Emergency Room at the hospital because, by the look of my ankle, they thought it was broken for sure.
Anyway, after the x-rays, the doctor said that the films showed that it didnt seem to be broken. But he was quite unsure about it. So he wanted me to see an orthopedic surgeon on Monday to make sure that its not broken. He prescribed me some medications for pain, and I went home.
On Monday the orthopedic surgeon took several more x-rays of my right ankle. He looked at the films and still wasnt sure. He told me that he needed to take one more x-ray. This time he put on a lead vest and some gloves to protect his body and hands from the x-ray because he needed to twist my ankle with his hands while taking the x-ray. Finally, he looked at this last film and was able to conclude with certainty that my ankle was not broken. Huhhhhhhh.
Since Saturday Ive been keeping my ankle elevated all the time because when too much blood stays in my right foot, my ankle becomes very swollen, stiff, and very painful. The most comfortable posture for me right now is to lie on the bed with my right foot resting on some pillows. So I stayed on my bed most of Saturday and Sunday. The worst thing besides the pain is that I have to walk on crutches and cant drive to work by myself. These days Ive become a 3-legged man who has to depend a lot on other people. I cant even play with Tank, and hes so lonely.
However, the pain medication given to me at the emergency room was quite magical na krub 55555. A friend whos working on Doctorate in Pharmacy told me that this drug has a similar effect to Morphine. It suppresses the feeling of pain and makes whoevers taking it a very happy person (you know what I mean? 5555555). I was feeling like hell before taking that drug, but I came out of the emergency room laughing and very happy. The doctor had magic. 55555555
