yeap, south park is an american animation that largely makes fun of american culture and current events and anyone in between. i haven't watched it for quite some time. i wanted to smack cartman each time i watched it, but i liked him thou (i'm a confused type, i hate you, i love you, i hate you, i love you) is kenny still around?
i know that there are cheaper drugs up there, and i think that canada usually gets teased about being very quiet and polite (compare to its obnoxious neighbor down south...hehehe ;) here's one of the teasings from the daily show's america: a citizen's guide to democracy inaction, on canadian history.
"our style of revolution centered less on bloodshed and guerrilla warfare and more on the time-tested strategy of "not making a fuss." for example, at the same time you were declaring war on the english monarchy, we were enjoying privileges granted by king george in the treaty of versailles, which gave us fishing rights off the coast of newfoundland, provided we not dry or cure fish on land. (and by the way, we later got the right to cure and dry fish on land, thank you very much!) ...and our patience ultimately paid off, for in the glorious year of 1982, we took the bold step of getting permission from england to amend our constitution so we could amend our constitution -without getting permission from england. let freedom ring!" by samantha bee (i think she's a canadian!?!) ^ ^ ^ ^ some people are sensitive and some are not, so anyhow don't take the above too seriously thou. all work and no play makes jack a dull boy.
