There's no single formula for the success in MBA admission. Everything is considered, be it academic aptitude,work experiences, social skill, how you interview and how you present yourself to the admissions committee through Essays, SOP, resume, letter of recommendation etc. And most importantly, the luck factor!
Unfortunately, there is only 1 Thai at HBS this year (last year 5). Yeah, all have formidable profiles (compared to Thai people's on average).
If you want to learn more about the lives of MBA students/how they prepare for application to top MBA programs/ lives pre&post MBA. You should definitely read/study/scrutinize this blog. A few people share the very secrets to their successes (recommend Marquis@ Stanford, his is very detailed and dates back to the application days)
