I would support comments made by K. พธูไทย.
Selling ideas is very difficult.
To be fair to another side, let me put it this way.
If you have limited budget/money/resources, and you have to finish your projects.
Which projects are you going to allocate your limited resource into?
This is a big responsibility as a boss na krub. He/she has to take both risk and chance. To be fair with them, I would say, I would take chance with minimal risk. And, I believe that you would do the same, right?
At your end, you have to sell your ideas krub... Try your best to sell them day in day out.
If your "customer" is a very smart guy and, one day, you can convince him to buy your ideas... You will feel so great about yourself... But, for these smart people, they are always skeptical and thoughtful.... It takes lots of supporting evidences, time, perseverance, trust, and much more to win their nods!!
Once you have one approving nod, the following ones will ensue quicker than the first one.
