Also, you would have a hard time to get access to your money in other currency except Baht. Why would you wanna lose more despite the fact that Baht will be stronger over time? All you need is physical address which it doesn't mean they will send any of your information to that address, because you can set to paperless statement from your bank online. The physical address can be your friend's address, they won't check anyhow. Just keep your debit card since you can withdraw money from your bank account via ATM in Thailand. Fee will be applied.
