I wonder that some of your "Core subjects " could have a preriquisite na ka. If not, I suggest you take each subjet from the group of core business or take more subjects from the group that you are interested in. Note that inorder for you to take some of the interested elective subjects, those subjects may need a preriquisite. This means you will have to take those preriquisite subjects from the core subjects in the first or second semester.
Note also that some subjects may not open in every semester so you have to plan the schedule well. Get to know people who had study these sujects before and see what they say too. Sometimes subject looks good in the paper but not when the lecturer is not up to it.
I do concern the fact that you had no business study background. This means you will be very much disadvantage in some subject group ex accounting or finace. Unless you are really into either of that group, I suggested that you choose none or at a minimum.
Without seeing each subject's synopsis, this is what I think.
Core units of study ACCT5001 Accounting Principles - very useful. This will give you an understanding in business. ACCT5002 Managerial Accounting and Decision Making - In some Uni, depending on the synopsis, this subject would require you to study "Accounting Principles " first. If not, this subject could be a lighter version of how to interpreted the accounting report and what it means to the business. CLAW5001 Legal Environment of Business- necessary but you don't need to take this if you want to keep credits. ECMT5001 Principles of Econometrics - You would need to know s.th. about "Statistics". If you never take any stat subject before, I suggest you avoid this subject. ECMT5020 Data Analysis and Interpretation - You would need to know s.th. about "Statistics". If you never take any stat subject before, I suggest you avoid this subject. ECON5001 Microeconomic Theory - very basic and useful, but you don't need to take this if you 're not plan to be an analysis ECON5002 Macroeconomic Theory - very basic and useful, but you don't need to take this if you 're not plan to be an analysis FINC5001 Capital Markets and Corporate Finance - necessary but you don't need to take this if you want to keep credits. GOVT5001 Business, Government and Society - very basic and useful, but you don't need to take this if you 're not plan to be an analysis IBUS5011 Foundations of Entrepreneurship - good theory subject. If you look for an easy subject to take. This is one of them. INFS5000 Business Information Systems - good theory subject. If you look for an easy subject to take. This is one of them. MKTG5001 Marketing Principles - necessary if you plan to study further in Marketing, but you don't need to take this if you want to keep credits.
