In short, I don't think you need "International passport" at all. The most important items that you are required to have are
1) a valid passport
2) a letter from the employer stating that you have been offered a position (including the time period, locations, and responsibilities)
3) documents proving that you reside in Thailand (bank statements, home address, utility bills etc)
Personally, I think getting an offer is the most difficult part. Once you have a job offer, getting a visa should not be that hard.
