English as a Second Language (ESL) Job Training
We also offer an ESL version of our introductory training as a 10-week course. The course will help you design a plan for success and increase your confidence while learning English. The classes are for intermediate to advanced English speakers who are looking for work. When you come to the orientation, we will give you a language assessment to see if you are ready for the course.

Education and Training Referrals
For participants who complete our Job Readiness Training or ESL Job Training, we can make referrals to adult education programs such as ABE or GED and/or advanced vocational training programs, including certification courses in fields such as housekeeping, food handling, and office machinery.

SUBWAY
Take the F Train to the East Broadway stop. Exit on East Broadway and walk east- away from Chinatown. At Montgomery Street, which has a big traffic triangle in the middle of it, there is a small community park with a gazebo on the other side of the street. This is right next to the headquarters buildings. Cross the traffic triangle diagonally to Henry Street, which runs parallel to East Broadway. The Settlement buildings are the first ones from the corner. The walk from the subway station takes about eight minutes.
BUS
Number 22 and Number 9 buses run from the Lower West Side of Manhattan. The No. 9 stops at East Broadway and Clinton Streets (follow subway directions from there), and the No 22 stops at Montgomery and Madison (walk one block to Montgomery and Henry).
The M14 runs along 14th Street and then turns south toward the Lower East Side. Exit at Grand Street and Montgomery and walk two blocks to Henry
