If you don't mind a biased comment from a Boston resident for 6 yrs...
Personally, I think Finale is too expensive for what you get. If you like chocolate, go to Burdick in Harvard sq instead.
China Pearl China Pearl is good. But if you want some adventurous, try เสี่ยวหลงเปา at House of Dumplings, also in Chinatown
I have never bought Lobster in a restaurant... Perhaps Quincy market? Or buy a steam one from supermarket and make your own Thai sauce.. yum
There are many choices here. The popular ones are Roddee, Padthai Cafe, and Noodle street.
If you want sushi, go to Oiishi. Prepare for a long wait and a big bill. Another decent place is called Toraya in Arlington. If you live in Somerville, it's not hard to get there. If you want regular Jap, Porter sq is good for the price. I would recommend Cafe Mami for a more modern version of Jap food, but it's quite crowded.
Mr. Bartley's Burger is a famous burger place in Harvard Sq. I think it's a bit pricey, but good for the taste.
Afghan restaurant called Helmand is very well known. It's not much cheaper than Elephant Walk, but I bet Thai people will like Helmand more.
