Thank you for sharing. Dr. Elie Wiesel is another person whom I have high regards/respect.
In 2006, I saw him on Oprah Winfrey show. He talked about his mission on promoting peace on this planet. Later that year, I listened to his speech at Save Darfur Rally. I was very moved. His speech was in this effect
if we choose to be indifferent to the Darfurians plight and do nothing, we are also guilty by our indifference.
Last year, he was on radio interview with NPR twice. I wish we can hear more of him and other noble peace advocates. This world needs more people like him, President Carter, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, and Wangari Mathai.
Question: What will you say to people who believe the Holocaust isn't real? Dr.Wiesel: Nothing
...
This probably refers to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian President, who last year commented about his suspicion on the Holocaust. He refuses to believe that this tragedy is real. What a pity!
