About Civil Partnership (for same sex couple), I am serious too.
Notice my previous comment in #1. whether this will be approved or not, I cannot guarantee. Since I know it is not possible, yet.
You can try to ask for an approval, this can be a test case for different- sex couple. That is if you want to.
I haven't explained clearly, I think it is unfair for an unmarried couple (two people of different genders who have been in cohabitation for two years or more) to be left out of the rules, as in your case. So, I have advised you to use the Civil Partnership route (although it is supposed to apply for same sex partners) to ask for an approval since the two of you cannot and will not get married due to both of your families.
Do you two want to be married?
Do you love each other?
It is you who is getting married not your parents. There is no need to tell them either when you get married in the UK.
The two of you are 30 years old and mature adults. You have been living together for many years just like normal married couple and yet your parents do not mind about cohabitation.
If you really want to be together then you have to find someways to achieve that. And the only way for the two of you to do that is to actually get MARRIED in the UK.
If Civil Partnership IS NOT possible in your case then GET MARRIED and get it over with. Be together, stay there to support your future husband till he completes his studies. Get a COA and register your marriage are the only way for your own happiness.
Study the Home Office link I gave you and do whatever you think is best for the two of you.
I am sorry for misleading you. I know it is cruel but sometimes one has to be cruel to be kind.
I wish you all the very best.
added...just notice that your visa is due end of October, to be able to apply for a COA you visa must have at least 3 months remaining.
