If you can vote, please vote responsibly.
And by that I mean, please look into the candidates' policies in details, do not just listen to the sound bites. Example being: "I'll give you a tax cut." -- With the unprecedented deficit as far as your great-great-great-great-grand children's eyes can see, do you honestly think we all can pay less taxes and be better off?
Also, please avoid lebeling YOUR fellow Americans especially when you yourself can't even give proper definitions of being "patriotic" or "American," or both.
Yes, Mr. American patriot, I'm talking to you.
Because we have freedom of speech, you can, like you did in your comments, go ahead and insult Obama's supporters who, last time I checked, are American as much as you've claimed you are.
Like it or not, they ARE, too, Americans. Some of them may happen to reside in YOUR neighborhood. (Will you sleep well tonight knowing this?) If you don't think that they are, then you're NOT American to me. It's your decision to vote or not vote for any of the candidates, for whatever reasons you have, I don't have a problem with that. One could vote for Palin just because she's kinda hot, I'd be disappointed, but I'd accept it. ***However, your trashing others who don't think like you do, that's un-American in my book.***
I'm sure (I think) your Thai wife loves you but that doesn't make you a better person in my opinion. You may waive your US birth certificate in front of me all day long and that won't make you unique or special either.
But you know what? Here in America, I'll be my liberal democratic self and tolerate your bigotries because I believe in the idea of being American. We're different but equal. I won't tell you to move, partly because I don't think you can move anywhere with that attitude of yours. However, if you decide to move or visit, even, please do not go to MY country, Thailand.
Because, I shall put it in the way you'll understand, I, for one, won't welcome you there, my friend. You're either with me or against me.
Yeah, that should serve you right.

P.S. 1 - Nice try for the Journal link, except that you didn't point out that it's an Op-Ed piece. And who owns the Journal? Surprise, surprise! - News Corp. which, also owns Fox News (need I say more?), belongs to Rupert Murdoch who supports McCain.
Funny you called Obama an M word. Even McCain and Palin didn't go that far. (Perhaps they should, so they can scare the bejesus out of every single soul in America!) And McCain the Socialist? Really? I don't even know which ideologies this guy's subscribed to anymore, that is, if he has one. If you compare this McCain to the other McCain who ran in 2000, you'll know what I mean.
P.S. 2 - All comments aside, I'd love to see you come back here in the future. The world where everybody always agrees would be dull and unconstructive. But of course, you'd like that, wouldn't you?
