I have some advice for you, LittlegirlinBigapple.
(I can read Thai, but unfortunately, I cannot write in Thai...sorry if it's difficult for you to read.)
You can do several things to remedy the situation. First, like everyone has already said, you can call the police...but the police won't do anything without prove. What they will do is filed a police report. And thats a good thing. You want some kind of record at the police department regarding his behavior.
Secondly, you can report him to the IRS and the INS as I'm sure that he is in violation of the law by hiring you. (You don't have a working permit, right? Also, he paid you in cash and did not pay any tax, right?) You don't even have to give your name...the IRS and INS will still investigate his business.
And third, and most important, you can file charges against him and his business with the NYSDHR (New York State Division of Human Rights) at http://www.dhr.state.ny.us/index.html Go to the website and read up on "Sexual Harassment". If the NYSDHR find that your case is valid, it will then take legal action against him. If that happens, he'll probably have to get a lawyer to defend himself as the NYSDHR is very serious about protecting the rights of employees.
If you need further help or have any questions, please feel free to email me at jimmyp0001@yahoo.com (You dont have to write in English, you may email me in Thai.)
