Most probably means that the so-called "WORK AND STUDY" where a student attends an English course for 1 week and work for 8-10 weeks will no longer be allowed. but the part-time work still allowed http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk/applyingafter-March/changesforstudents/working/ Working This page explains what work you can do when you are studying as a general student under the new points-based system after the end of March 2009.
