With all due respect,
I do not need to listen to a farang who himself doesn't appreciate his own country telling me to appreciate my country and its natural resources.
I certainly do not need an approval from a farang of having natural tan skin tone which I don't have (and I'm Thai but maybe I'm not in his book). Just because he likes tan or whatever and I should like it too?
I'm pale and I'm happy the way I am. And no, I don't think opposites attract in this case, i.e. I don't like men with dark skin tones.
Just because he felt that he didn't get enough sunlight back in England and I shouldn't complain about how unbelievably freaking hot Bangkok is? (Global Warming Effects, anyone?)
How about this Mr.วีลเลอร์, how about you go back to and stay put in England and look at your own country the way you tell Thai people to do to their country instead of moving out of your native country AND tell Thai people to love Thailand? I'm sure England must have its own strengths somewhere.
Didn't you come to Thailand because you're looking for something you couldn't find or didn't have in England? And now you're saying that Thai people should be satisfied with what they have in Thailand?
How about YOU be satisfied with what your did and did not have in England back then?
Don't you understand that different people have different wants and needs?
When some Thais want to live abroad or appreciate what western countries have to offer, they would be attacked like they committed treachery. Like so in this kratoo http://www.pantip.com/cafe/klaibann/topic/H7838422/H7838422.html.
How ironic?
What I'm trying to say is, if any Thai wants to adore, love, or appreciate Thailand, then go ahead and do it because you actually do. Don't do it because "even farangs do so."
