I live in New York, USA and Munich, Germany. I have seen and lived through life style of both countries. I disagree with this:
"คนเมกาคลั่งคนเยอรมันมาก"
Not true.
It is the opposite that some Germans people (especially mostly new generation) are crazy about American cultures for examples: American teen fashion, Levi's Jean 501 button fly, American songs and music VDO. Even some young Germans want to brush up their English with American tourists.
Some American words like "COOL" is widely spoken as KOOL. SMS text messaging services and sex phone service that are charged by minute are also from American influences. Many Germans want to travel to America to the "so called" cool city like New York. They find jobs in USA and even there were many well-known pioneers who came from Germany to the USA as early settlers.
English language is spoken mostly in big cities, at universities, tourist areas and international office bureaus.
I once worked P/T as a quality control person at a printing company in Munich. Not a single German at that company could speak English. I had to speak German to them.
**Correction typo** Excuse my broken English. **There is no Thai font on this keyboard***
***Further more, The Germans are crazy about American wild west, cowboys and native Indians. There are many western films that were produced and directed by Germans.
