I came back from Ukraine via Istanbul with 6 luggages and no one bothered to stop me. But when I came back from Australia, I get stop once for X ray. The duty officer make a little fuss about a few bottle of vitamins that I brought, but I said it is for mysalf and not even worth more than 10K so he sort of let me off the hook.
So it really depends on your luck. Although flights from the US, Japan, and HK are brobably been targeted more 'cause lots of people do bring stuff in for sale.
