It really depends on how you work overseas. Ive done both working in the kitchen for a restaurant and working a multinational office in a manager role covering many countries.
The principal is the same work hard (+smart), value education and do things yourself
If you dont mind working in a restaurant, It can be great fun. People are more sincere and easier to deal with. Not so much politics in a small place. I actually enjoyed the 14 hours working on the serving station more than 14 hours in the office managing all intelligent but difficult people!
In multinational organization, its a totally different arena. You have to be equipped to make sure you stay in the business flow and can groom your staff to contribute to the companys growth. Good package came with big responsibility ka.
Working overseas usually give good experience and I support young generation to try working outside Thailand for a while before going home. Dont get too comfortable with easy life style in Thailand. The world outside is moving very fast.
