This programme is tailored for those individuals who are interested in combining their sciences background with that of innovation and entrepreneurial thinking. Thus, potential candidates need to have an interest in developing their skills in analysing and resolving issues within technological innovation and/or entrepreneurship. The Master's degree programme will develope the knowledge of innovative processes through hands-on experience and by exploring and utilizing leading edge research. Students with an enginering and natural sciences background are given a good foundation in the various functional aspects of technology management, allowing them to pursue a management career or work as project leaders of new technology based ventures. The Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship addresses the vision by providing a curriculum in technology management focusing on innovation theory, business development, management, strategy, finance and marketing along with two electives within science. In addition to the course-work, all students are required to complete an independent, 40-60 page thesis, and two/three months of executive internship in technology-based start-up companies. As part of the training programme, students also run/participate in actual innovation projects. It is possible to spend one semester at Gründerskolen as part of the Master´s programme, or attend one semester at the University of Toulouse 3- Paul Sabatier As part of the Gründerskole programme you will study abroad for three months.The destinations abroad are decided each autumn. The language of instruction is English. General requirements You are eligible for admission to the Master's degree course SIM if you hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a university Master's degree in another subject.
