Returning to the UK to study with a different Tier 4 sponsor

This information applies to you if

   you have Tier 4 immigration permission (leave) that has not yet expired and
   your leave was for study that has now ended and
   you have left the UK and
   you need to return to the UK to start studying with a different Tier 4 sponsor.

You should make sure that you apply for entry clearance (a visa) for study with your new Tier 4 sponsor before you return to the UK. Some students who have tried to return on their previous leave are currently being refused entry to the UK because their circumstances have changed since their immigration permission was granted.

If you have entry clearance for study at the institution where you are going to study when you return, this should not happen to you.
