1) Can / will ใช้ในการเขียน พูด present tense ธรรมดาปกติทั่วไป
- I can reach you before 3.00 pm
- I will go to see you this coming Sunday.
2) Could, would ใช้ในประโยค past tense
- Sorry, i was busy yesterday i could not meet you.
- Yesterday he told me that he would do this by himself.
3) could , would ใช้แบบ ประโยคสุภาพหน่อย แต่เป็น present tense
- Could you pass the ketchup?
- We would love to see you again.
- Would you mind if i sit here?
- I would like to see Mr. Smith.
4) ใช้ในประโยค If clause ในเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นแล้วย้อนกลับไปไม่ได้อีกแล้ว คือเป็นไปได้ แต่ไม่ได้ทำให้เกิดขึ้น (would + have + verb 3 / would + have not)
- If i know that you have to stand and wait for 1 hr for the bus, i would have sent you at the train station.
