ความคิดเห็นที่ 5 Thai architects who won the top prize in Queens Plaza design competition from Van Alen Institute in December 2001 are Surachai Akekapobyothin and Juthathip Techachumroen. See more information about the design from www.vanalen.org or Art4D March 02. These two architects used to work in NYC, but have come back to Thailand and founded a firm in Bangkok. Anyway, if you would like to present some famous Thai architects, I think Dr. Sumet Jumsai Na Ayutthaya and Khun Nithi Sthapitanonda are good choices. Their works are widely-known and obviously show personal style in design concepts as well as physical looks. Dr. Sumet is famous for both his academic work (Naga) and his building design.
