Very well expressed, Khun Angelo. If everyone was motivated to help improve Siam like you are, I'm sure it would make all the difference in the world. No matter how big or small this difference was, it would be a progress still. And if we could keep progressing steadily, the goal of our nation would be realized one day, no matter how long that might seem at this moment.
Anyway, I, too, am a sucker for fine food. There are so many terminologies to learn when you go out and dine in French, Japanese, or Italian restaurants. It took me many visits to Michelin-stars, 5-stars, and 3-hats restaurants (depending on which rating systems you refer to) to really appreciate French delicacies, to learn the different kinds of fish used in Sashimi, or to comprehend all the different types of pastas and their matching sauce.
Fine dining restaurants with world-class chefs, and private visits to remote, boutique wineries/vineyards would be something I'd truly miss when I went back. But I'm still confident that the intrinsic value of knowing that you could help out Siam and its beloved King would surpass this worldly pleasure, let alone the realization when it was eventually achieved, and you were a part of it.
