Most employment especially unlawful employment are considered "Employment at Will". It means that either employer or employee can terminate the employment at anytime with or without cause, and, with or without notice.
It is the responsibility of the employer to successfully manage the business, not the employee.
If your employees suddenly quit and you cannot run your business, it is not their faults at all, in my opinion.
