As a Thai student who has been in Canada quite long... i strongly support the comment #8...
Living outside the country without parents isn't a good idea for a teenager...
Why don't you send your eldest son to study in the program of study 2 years in Thailand and 2 years in oversea..
For continue study in Canada so far i know 2 universities..
Asian University, they have good contact with UBC in Canada ...as you know UBC is one of the best universities across Canada.. about BA
Thammasat University, has a good contact with University of Nottingham (U.K) and University of Regina (Canada).. about Engineering..
There are more university but i don't know.. you better do research...
So far, if you plan to do the business in Canada.. i support your son to study for BA in Asain University and continue in UBC..
UBC has very good business connetions among Asain countries especially, HK, Japan, and Korea since Vacouver is connected to the Pacific Ocean.. the area where people do the International Business here...
After your son can find connections over there... you can immigrate with the investment.. last time i checked, it used about $6 millions baht for immigration for the investment..... This kind of plan is the plan that many Chinese people do..
Chinese people send their children to come to Canada to study at the same time they are looking for the connection for investment. Then, they invest and immigrate at the end...
Believe me from my experience comes to study abroad with a group of friends is much better than come to study abroad alone..
P.S. please forgive me if there are some English grammar mistakes; i'm kind of sleepy now...
