    Walking Britain # Loughrigg Tarn

    Here it is – my first ever travel story written in English.  Well! comparing my travel stories written in Thai, this piece of work is dreadfully short.  This was my fourth time to do walking in Lake District.  My first interested in walking in Britain (I chose this word as I intended to do walking in other parts too) was inspired by the obsessed in wild flowers. I came across a small book with 16 walking routes in Lake District described wild flowers expected along the walk paths.  After I did my first walk, I am no longer interested in wild flowers (compared to the new ambition – walking).

    After a long journey on the train and bus, I finally got off the bus at Rydal Mount.  Having been around this area before; I knew where exactly to get off, I felt very relax. Another walker also got off at the same point with me.  As my map was so rough, I couldn’t locate where precisely the starting point.  I walked up and down along the main road for a while then took a small stream as a reference and decided to cross a small stone-bridge.  

    I jot down the started time, it read 10.20 then did 4 snap shots of panorama photo, Rydal Mouth was in the middle of the pic, Loughrigg Tarn – the route I planed for today- was somewhere to the left of the pic. Just after I finished the shots, the light rain began.
