So? Everyone has some sort of "accent". Native speakers from UK have different accent from people from US or Australia. Even people here in the US have different accent if they come from different part of the country!!! The fact that someone has an accent doesn't mean he or she is not good at English! I have an accent, and heck, I'm proud of it. :P
If you think that going to seminars where you ฟังไม่รู้เรื่อง and ไม่ได้ทั้งความรู้ไม่ได้ทั้งภาษา, then you know what, you should be the one that take the responsibility to try to improve your english! Your professor is not your English teacher. Not everything in life is going to be spoon-fed to you. That's life.
Having to attend a seminar with a native speaker should be an inspiration for you to strive to learn more English--not an opportunity for you to complain that your professor doesn't teach you English!!!
And by the way, "reading subtitles" in movie has absolutely nothing to do with knowing English or not. Chances are, if it's there, people (at least I) have the tendency to read it, whether it's necessary to do so or not. Heck, sometimes the (mis)translation is an entertainment in itself.
It's good to want to become better in something like English, but can't you understand that you should never use someone's ineptness in things like languages or communication to undermine that person's ability.
