Stamp: No work or recourse to public fund
It is a prohibition on working.
It means that you are not allowed to work at all.
Unless there's a statement something like 'No recourse to public funds Work (and any changes) must be authorised' this is a restriction, then you are allowed to work for 20 hrs per week.
Immigration law stated clearly that people who hold a visa for less than one year are not allowed to work, technically.
6 months course with 11 months visa, you can stay in UK till the last day of your permit. No need to do anything. But if you want to enroll on a course and extend your visa you should apply in UK at least 2 months before your visa expires.
Best wishes.
