The notion that "แนะนำให้มาหน้าแล้ง สวยมากกว่า น่ากลัวน้อยกว่า มาอีกครั้งดีมั้ย มีใครจะมาเป็นเพื่อนมั้ย". My response is "ดี". I will definitely be your companion, if I happen to be in Thailand during that period.
When is หน้าแล้ง; around which month?
Two yrs. ago, we went to Laos. We fell in love with the Laotians. They are cultured, genteel, kind, honest and down to earth.
When we were in Luang Phrabang, I was under spell with the whole ambient, the whole setting. It was as if we went back in time. The beauty of its architecture (mostly temples) which is rich with intricate craftmanships; the simple but charming housings. Life there is at slow pace as if the time factor had no meaning. People are nice and simple. The charm of simplicity :-) rich with cultures appeals to me immensely. I'm contemplating, if possible, to retire there.
