Money is not everything indeed at particular given time. Value of 40,000 Baht per month is a lot of money but not for everybody every time. Since คุณ : โย has experienced international travelling I do not think that 40,000 Baht per month income and at his age could tie him up to the land. . My son who was born and raised in the US visited Thailand past April. He was so impressed and thought if he could work in Thailand for 1/4 of his salary in the US he would be very happy. I reminded him to think it over before quitting his job ( because I do not make that much). International travelling everymonth is required for his job.. which keeps him on the job for now. While his salary remains the same , next year international travelling is no longer required. He plans to leave his about 4M (Baht) per year salary behind to visit and stay in Thailand again. I know why.. He is 2 years older than คุณ : โย, single, no girl friend and most of his co-workers are of my age, retired military man. Thai people are nice ( he said), etc.. Good luck son and คุณ : โย. I did that and made my journey when I was at about your age but it was from Thailand.
