To K Isvasu again,
I don't mind if others have different opinions than mine; but the way to express the comment should be in a polite way.
What if my husband were 25 years old, how could he have a saving of 400,000 bht as a deposit to Thai goverment? If my husband were as same age as you, 400,000 bht is just nothing.
Also, we live in Western Europe. Cost of living , tax and social stutures are not the same as those in USA. We paid much higher income and other taxes than American do. As everage Western Europian, they don't have much saving, they just have high standard of living which provided by their government.
And if he can provide 400,000 bht, it is not his money. It is our family money.
So is it fair if a foriegn husband of a Thai woman wants to extend his staying and have to provide that amount of money to Thai goverment while a foriegn wife of a Thai man doesn't have to do the same thing.
This is the point that we are discussing about.
